The Hungry Caterpillar

A stop frame animation produced by Year One children at Scunthorpe C of E Primary School and inspired by one of their favouirite stories.
This was filmed in a day using I Can Animate software.
The children created the set and the props (with only a little help).
They recorded their narrations using Audacity software and contolled the movement of the caterpillar.
Assisted and enjoyed by Chris Webster.

Filmed in one day and edited in two days this piece was produced for a presentation to the judges at the Lincolnshire Environmental Awards 2010. Due to the dedication and hard work that the school staff and pupils have put in towards becoming a sustainable 'green' school the film was recieved very well and assisted in Lisle Marsden WINNING the award!

Class 5W's version of the legend of King Arthur was renenacted at Lisle Marsden C of E Primary School with class members planning the action to their scripts. Their peers photographed them. Then pupils used Audacity software to record their narrations and Serif Photo Plus to treat the selected photographs with effects.
